As we reflect on our past and look toward the future in a world where ideologically narrow or easy answers are less satisfactory, and may even be destructive, than ever, we chose to put to words a couple of thoughts we believed represented authentic guiding obligations for us as well as our audience.
Certainty can be reassuring, but it can also get in the way of understanding. For us, the end of each story or argument should be the start of a dialog, and the end of each conversation the start of another or another story or argument.
